The WWE has put together a strong card as it debuts at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ with a new Pay Per View called Hell in a Cell.
Hell in a Cell promises to be a great show, especially if you like Hell in a Cell matches, of which this card will boast three, the most ever in one night. Also on the card are U.S., IC, and Tag title matches as well as a Divas title match. Here is a preview. Alicia Fox vs. Mickie James (WWE Divas Title Match)It seems like women's wrestling has taken a step back this past year. Mickie has had some awful matches on Raw recently and Alicia is decent, but relatively inexperienced. Wouldn't expect anything special here and the shorter they keep it the better. It's too early for Alicia to win the title here so look for Mickie to retain. Prediction: Mickie James The Miz vs. Jack Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston (U.S. Title Match)This match boasts three young superstars, all of whom have a lot of potential. 3-ways are usually either really good or a train wreck and this is likely to be the former. Miz and Swagger will look to double team Kingston early before turning on each other. Kofi has held the title for quite a while and a change seems likely here. Miz has been more vocal about his desire to win the title than Swagger so he is the choice here. Prediction: The Miz Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison (Intercontinental Title Match)Morrison is one of the most exciting performers in WWE right now and Ziggler is not too shabby himself. This has the potential to be the match of the night, although it is likely to be overshadowed by the Hell in a Cell matches and it is unlikely to get enough time to be truly special. Ziggler has been groomed as the next IC champ and was poised to win the title from Mysterio before Mysterio got suspended. His quest will likely have to wait a while longer because a loss by Morrison will make him look like a transitional champ and the WWE doesn't want that. Prediction: John Morrison Batista & Rey Mysterio vs. Chis Jericho & Big Show (Undisputed Tag Title Match)Batista and Mysterio are the strongest challengers Jericho and Big Show have had since winning the titles. There figures to be a lot of fast-paced high-flying action from Mysterio and Jericho and a lot of slower-paced power stuff from Batista and Big Show which should make for an interesting match. The WWE must be unhappy with Mysterio for violating the Wellness policy so look for him to take the fall here as Jericho & Big Show continue their dominant run as champs. Prediction: Chris Jericho & Big Show Legacy vs. DX (Hell in a Cell)This has been a great feud between the veterans and the young up-and-comers. They've had two excellent PPV matches already and will look to make it a third. They've made it clear that this feud will end here so look for both teams to pull out all the stops. There should be a lot of physicality, a lot of violence, and a lot of blood. Expect HHH's trusty sledgehammer to make an appearance in this one. They've alternated wins so far and it's DX's turn here in a hard fought match up. Prediction: DX Randy Orton vs. John Cena (WWE Title Hell in a Cell Match)These two will also meet for the third PPV in a row. Their previous matches have been solid but they have a chance to top it here. Based on the tease on Raw, it seems that they may have some action take place on top of the cage. Once again, there figures to be a lot of physicality on both sides. If this match does spill outside the Cell, interference from Legacy seems likely. Orton has been losing a lot lately and he is due for a win here, so the group can save face after losing the tag match earlier. Prediction: Randy Orton Undertaker vs. C.M. Punk (World Title Hell in a Cell Match)Three Hell in a Cell Matches is a bit challenging in terms of making them all different so things don't get repetitive. This one may me more submission themed, as both guys will look to win the match with their respective submission finishers. Undertaker can still have good performances with a quality opponent, so if they are given enough time to let the match build, unlike the last PPV, this should be a very good match. After being screwed last month, Undertaker should get the win here with his Hell's Gates in a match that is his specialty. If rumors of his declining health are true, this could be his last title win and would be a great way to end the show, a great feel-good moment, especially for long-time Undertaker fans. Prediction: Undertaker
