Punk faces Hardy for the World Championship, Rey Mysterio puts his mask on the line for the Intercontinental title and Dolph Ziggler makes his PPV debut in a No DQ Match

The Bash takes place at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California where there will be more than just title belts up for grabs as a combination of pride, respect and one man's heritage is on the line.

The Great Khali Vs. Dolph Ziggler in a No Disqualification Match

Ever since Ziggler appeared in the WWE he has made it his aim to have his name remembered, usually by introducing himself at any and every given opportunity. However, since being drafted to Smackdown the new-age Mr. Perfect has seemingly changed tack, choosing instead to issue an open challenge and then constantly outsmart the 7+ft Punjabi Giant who accepted it; The Great Khali.

Dolph holds two very dubious victories over The Great Khali, one by count out and one by disqualification, although both were as a result of underhanded tactics by the up and comer and may have done nothing more than raise the ire of the big man.

At The Bash Ziggler won't be able to use the rules to his advantage, simply because there will be no rules, although the ability to use anything he can find as a weapon may just be enough to swing this one in his favour.

Prediction: Khali to dominate the match but Ziggler to pick up the win.

Melina (c) Vs. Michelle McCool for the Womens Championship

Despite this match featuring two of the most competent Divas on Smackdown and arguably in the WWE right now, it still feels like it could well be the dullest match on the card.

McCool has looked impressive as of late although part of the credit for that has to go down to her new 'partner in crime' Alicia Fox, who has helped her to win numerous matches in the lead up to this title shot.

Melina hasn't done too much since moving over from Raw and without any real backup to counter Fox, she could struggle to hold onto the belt.

Prediction: Michelle McCool to win with help from Alicia Fox.

Rey Mysterio Vs. Chris Jericho (c) in a Mask Vs. Belt Match for the Intercontinental Championship

At Extreme Rules Jericho made good on his promise, taking both Mysterio's Intercontinental Championship and his mask in one fell swoop. Jericho also managed to retain the title a week later on the special '3 for all' edition of Monday Night Raw, seemingly putting Rey out of the title picture completely.

Mysterio then challenged Jericho to give him another shot at the belt but the new champ initially refused, until he spotted an opportunity to de-mask his foe once and for all. Jericho said he would only put the belt on the line again if Rey was prepared to lose his mask if he doesn't win it back and after some careful consideration the offer was accepted.

For weeks now the commentary team have explained just how important the mask is to a luchadore wrestler like Mysterio and it seems unlikely he would put it on the line unless he was fairly confident of scoring a victory, however Jericho seems to have his number and this should be a very close battle.

Prediction: Mysterio to win after being unmasked.

C.M Punk (c) Vs. Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Championship

Jeff Hardy is now the shortest reigning World Heavyweight Champion in history thanks to C.M Punk cashing in the Money in the Bank at Extreme Rules.

Many fans think the decision to effectively steal the belt away just seconds after the Charismatic Enigma had won it in a gruelling ladder match was a poor one, but C.M Punk has stood by his decision even going as far as to say he would do the same thing again.

Hardy himself has also been quite vocal on the matter, insisting it was bad judgment on the part of Punk, but the new Champion made a very good point when he reminded everyone how he had done the same thing to Edge a year before and no one even batted an eyelid.

Prediction: C.M Punk to win by cheating, furthering his heel turn.
