WWE presents the Bash live from Sacramento, California this Sunday and it should be a great show, featuring three World Title matches.
The Bash will feature several rematches where the feuds are expected to culminate as well as several fresh matches that have never been seen before. Here is a preview. Dolph Ziggler vs. The Great Khali (No Disqualification)Dolph Ziggler is a promising young talent on Smackdown. Khali is a monster, but not much of a wrestler. Ziggler has gotten a count-out win and a DQ win over Khali in recent weeks, hence the no DQ stipulation. This feud is following the same pattern as the Henry/Bourne feud on ECW, and you know how that one ended. Should be a short match which will see Ziggler put up a good fight before succumbing to the giant Khali. Prediction: The Great Khali The Miz vs. John CenaThis is the Miz's first one-on-one pay per view match and he will be thrown right into the fire against John Cena. Miz has been running down Cena and taunting him for months and this is Cena's chance to shut him up. This feud has been built well as Cena hasn't laid a finger on Miz yet, leaving fans hungry to see the Miz finally get his. Miz will have a strong showing, proving that he belongs on the big stage, but ultimately, there is only one way this match can end and that is with Cena winning. Prediction: John Cena Michelle McCool vs. Melina (Women's Title Match)Nice to see a women's title match on pay per view. These are two of the best female wrestlers in the WWE so this should be a fun women's match. McCool has been on a roll of late and Melina has grown somewhat stale as women's champion. Melina needs a win here in order to give her some credibility so it means more when McCool does win the title, probably at Night of Champions next month. Prediction: Melina Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes vs. Primo and Carlito (Unified Tag Team Title Match)This should be a good match between four very talented performers. Primo and Carlito are great athletes but they haven't done much of note since winning the titles at Wrestlemania XXV. Rhodes and Dibiase have done some good work as Orton's lackeys but Legacy will be a much stronger group if they all pack gold. Prediction: Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio (Intercontinental Title vs. Mask Match)These are two of the best pure athletes in the WWE and they always put on a good show. This has been a fun feud but it is likely to end here. Everything points to Mysterio winning. Jericho is above the intercontinental title and is likely to move up into the main event mix after this. Also, the WWE stands to lose a lot of money if Rey is unmasked. Jericho should control most of the match before Mysterio gets a fluke pin to regain the title. Prediction: Rey Mysterio Jack Swagger vs. Mark Henry vs. Finlay vs. Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer (ECW Title Scramble Match)This is the third scrambe match ever and the first one for the ECW title. The concept was very innovative the first time around and resulted in some exciting matches. The combinations of Swagger/Chrisian/ Dreamer was starting to get old so Henry and Finlay were thrown into the mix to freshen things up. This match could be a little disjointed at times due to the contrasting styles. Expect them to play hot potato with the title until Dreamer sneaks in a pin late to retain. Prediction: Tommy Dreamer C.M. Punk vs. Jeff Hardy (World Title Match)This should be an interesting match between two great performers. Punk will use his fast hands and fast feet while Hardy will use his high-flying arsenal to combat Punk. Most fans turned on Punk for cashing in on Hardy at Extreme Rules and they teased a heel turn for Punk on Smackdown. Except them to go all the way at the Bash as Punk cheats to beat Hardy and fully turn heel. Prediction: C.M. Punk Randy Orton vs. HHH (3 Stages of Hell WWE Title Match)In this contest, the first fall will be a straight wrestling match, the second fall will be falls count anywhere, and the third fall will be a stretcher match. These stipulations should spice up what has been a stale feud between these two. Orton retaining makes the most sense to establish Legacy as a dominant force. HHH should take the first fall, though, likely with a pedigree. That will force Dibiase and Rhodes to interfere in the second fall, allowing Orton to even things up. Then comes the climax, the deciding fall. Wouldn't be shocking to see Vince McMahon, always a heel at heart, come out, presumably to help fight off Legacy, only to turn on HHH and cost him the title. Prediction: Randy Orton
